STUDIO7 Photography incorporates a Photographic Studio, a School of Photography and Graphic Design and an online gallery that sells original fine art photographic prints.

STUDIO7 Photography is the brainchild of Steven Greaves, professional photographer, photography lecturer and entrepreneur. Steven studied photography at Natal technikon and after his studies he worked as senior photographer at the SABC Gauteng. SA. In 1991 Steven resigned from the SABC to follow his dream as a freelance photographer, and in 2005 he launched STUDIO7 Photography.

Steven is Passionate about photography “My style of photography has developed over time, in fact it continues to evolve. I believe that it is the result of not only my formal training combined with years of experience but a unique way of seeing that is very often led by a deep “gut” feeling. In most of my images I intuitively try to capture a classic, timeless quality combined with a modern, contemporary approach. Some of my work has been described as having an almost “Mystical” quality, I suppose it's because I try to do more than just look, I want my subjects heartbeat to come through, I want to catch a glimpse of their souls and capture it on film. I want viewers of my work to have their emotions touched, their souls stirred. I would love people to see our Creators “hand” or “design” in a character portrait, a vast moody landscape or in the close up of a beautiful fragile flower. I want to do more than just have a quick look; I want to linger and see deeply, then capture the image and share its beauty, its mystique and its power with others. Every day when I awake I thank God that I am a photographer, this has always been my excitement and my passion”

It is out of this passion that STUDIO7 Photography was born.
